Alexandros is a philosopher and entrepreneur. He finished his MA in Philosophy at the University of Reading. While he was living in the Bay Area, he co-founded Patent Safari, co-organized events on evolving ideas into startups at Microsoft and Google, and brought Startup Weekend to Greece. At this point he has co-founded, visited, lived and served all kinds of communities, from Tibetan and Zen Buddhist monasteries in Nepal and Japan, to artillery units in the Greek military; from being a philosopher-in-residence at Silicon Valley startup accelerator Blackbox.vc to co-founder of TheGlint, a live-work community in San Francisco dedicated to redesigning heroism.
Originally a member of the San Francisco Hub (inducted in 2010) he was present in both Global Summits (Lisbon and Panama), attended dinners in different hubs around the world, and actively participated during the transition, submitting the proposal that got the second most votes. Relocated to Athens the past years, he recently organized the first Governance Summit in May 2016 and is looking forward to serve as the new ambassador for the Athens Hub.
